Having experienced first hand what helping others can do for the mind, spirit and soul, it was important to us to not only continue our individual support of organizations close to our hearts, but to extend our hands a little further.  Each quarter the indie-pendent will identify a need within the community and support it by featuring artists who contribute to non-profits related to that particular area of need.  These artists will be given the opportunity to provide insight as to why that area of need is important to them and how it is reflected in their work.  Signs will be displayed in the shop next to their products adding an element of personal connectivity between artist and customer.  The indie-pendent will host a raffle/give-away of artist donated products throughout the quarter and all proceeds will go towards that quarter’s selected charity.
