judi knight’s urban oasis b & b and new tricks world headquarters
Creative Spaces. I live, work and play in a 5,400 sq foot loft in an old cotton sorting warehouse in Inman Park that I bought in 1998 and turned into seven live/work lofts. I never knew I was an artist, since I didn’t really draw and never had an art class. After doing several large developments, I realized that I was an artist and that buildings were my medium. I love color and design and everything I do has to fit with its surroundings.

When our kids left home, we had this five bedroom and four bath loft to ourselves. My husband and I decided to have a bed and breakfast, and called it the Urban Oasis. That has been great fun. Around the same time, the construction industry bit the dust and I started doing what I had been doing as a hobby for my work and started a web design and social media marketing company, New Tricks.
My team works with me at the loft from 10 – 4 each day. There’s never a dull moment and the energy in the space is truly amazing. Imagination and love abound. People come and people go. It is a place to be shared. - Judi Knight
