shopping for artists has been one of the greatest thrills of this adventure.  there are so many creative people in this world and each great find seems to lead me to another.  beautiful images, beautiful work, beautiful people…each with a little something to share.  i love to read about your lives and why you do what you do.  what brought you to this place in your journey?  every once in a while, i am particularly touched by someone’s story and i want to share one of those with you…

lynn russell, the designer and printer behind satsuma press, has created a we love liam website for her son, who just turned 6 at the end of april.  liam has a neuromuscular disorder called spinal muscular atrophy type 2.  lynn, being smart and resourceful, came up with a great way to raise money to help out with liam’s special needs…she has giveaways!  talented and creative crafters from all over the world donate their wares to be raffled off for a small donation.  this summer, they are raising money to remodel the bathroom for liam.  check out this fantastic giveaway!  donate if you can and definitely share with others…i can’t wait for us to do such great work in our communities!  liam will look back one day and realize how lucky he is to be part of such a beautiful and wonderful family!
